Conduct
The tournament director is given the authority to warn or disqualify any player who displays unsportsmanlike behavior, including temper and profanity. This would also apply to hitting the ball or throwing the racquet from the playing area in a fit of temper. Point penalty system will be in effect, (Point, game, match) and will accumulate during the course of the tournament.
Matches will not have on court officials. Each player is expected to observe USTA rules and call lines fairly. In the event a player should request a line judge, they should stop play and ask someone off court to get the tournament director. The tournament director will assign a lines person who will only intervene when asked by the players about calls made by their opponent.
